Mumbai Indians call Nagaland's 16 year old leg spinner, Khrievitso Kense for trials

Kohima, January 20 (NEx): Five times Indian Premier League champion, Mumbai Indians, a franchise cricket team based in Mumbai, Maharashtra, called up Nagaland’s 16 year old leg spinner, Khrievitso Kense for trials, informed Hyunilo Anilo Khing, Secretary, Nagaland Cricket Association on Wednesday.

The 16-year old leg spinner, Khrievitso Kense got his maiden wicket on his debut match for Nagaland team against Arunachal Pradesh in the Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 Trophy 2021, at Chennai on January 13, 2021.

Leg spinner Kense took 7 wickets in four matches at Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 Trophy 2021 and is the leading wicket taker for Nagaland team. Kense took One (1) wicket against Arunachal Pradesh, three (3) wickets against Sikkim and three (3) wickets against Mizoram.

Khrievitso Kense is the son of Atuo & Neibunuo Kense from Sovima Village in Dimapur. Khrievitso Kense speaking to NagalandExpress informed that he is currently in Mumbai for five (5) days trial with Mumbai Indians team, which started today.

Hyunilo Anilo Khing, Secretary, Nagaland Cricket Association broke the news that the 16 year old leg spinner Khrievitso Kense was shortlisted by the Mumbai Indians for trial.
