Medical Camp At Razeiba Range By Chieswema Battalion to commemorate Army Day

Chieswema Battalion of Assam Rifles conducted a medical camp for Razeiba Range comprising of Zhavame, Razeiba, Tsufume and Zelume on January 15, 2021 to commemorate Army Day

Kohima, January 15 (NEx): Chieswema Battalion of Assam Rifles conducted a medical camp for Razeiba Range comprising of Zhavame, Razeiba, Tsufume and Zelume under Phek district on January 15, 2021 to commemorate the Army Day.

The PRO, HQ IGAR (N) in a press release informed that the camp aimed at providing free eye check up, ENT preliminary diagnosis and regular check up for ailments like common cold, cough, aches and pains.

The SMO along with his team Doctor Weweu (Eye Specialist) made this camp a huge success. About 200 patients of all age groups were treated, provided with spectacles, hearing aids and some with serious ailments were also referred to Naga Hospital for further diagnosis, informed the PRO.

Razeiba Public Organisation has highly appreciated this humanitarian gesture by Assam Rifles, the release said.

Assam Rifles Established Solar Street Lights:

Further, Chieswema Battalion of Assam Rifles under the aegis of IGAR (N) established 8 new solar street lights under the military civic action programme at Marian village, Wozuro sub division of Wokha district, Nagaland.

The PRO said that the newly established solar lights will also augment security during night time. The initiative and commitment of the Assam Rifles was highly appreciated by the locals.
