Make Nagaland a peaceful and happiest state in India: New ‘Vision 2030’ of Peace Channel

Dimapur, September 20, (NE): Peace Channel – a movement of the New Millennium, has celebrated it’s 12th Peace Knit Fest 2019 on theme, “Transformed to transform”, today on September 20 at Don Bosco Youth Center, Wokha with Parish Priest, St. Paul Church, Wokha, Rev. Fr. A. D. Jose as a special guest.

In his speech as welcome and key note address, Founding Director, Peace Channel (PC), Dimapur, Dr. Fr. C. P. Anto said, “It is possible to make Nagaland, a model state for a peaceful and happiest state in the country.

He highlighted, this all can happen through the New Vision 2030 that Peace Channel has created if applied. For this, Nagaland must move from micro level identity of tribe, religion, caste, class or region but to a macro level identity of human beings; we simply have to accept and respect all.

Further, he highlighted that the Government role is also becoming very important – as it is time now to establish a peace commission including separate department to prevent, intervent & resolved conflicts like the one in Rwanda or Philippines among others, etc.

He also further added that in coming days, the PC would collaborate with ANPSA, PCAN, etc.

Meanwhile, the special guest encouraged the work of PC as a peace builder.

The other highlights included Peace Celebration, Inter Faith Meet (panel discussion).
