'Made in DABA' goes online to promote indigenous products

Dimapur, September 21 (NEx): The ‘Made in DABA’, an initiative of Dimapur Ao Baptist Church (DABA) takes its 5th edition online to promote indigenous products and to reach out to a larger customer base.

Made in DABA ministry is an initiative of Dimapur Ao Baptist Church (DABA), started on August 10, 2016, with an aim to promote indigenous products and also to motivate and provide platform to youths who are trying to establish themselves as entrepreneurs. It focuses on the holistic development of its members.

70 young entrepreneurs took part in the event and 258 parcels were delivered for free within Dimapur town area on September 19, 2020, as per a DIPR report.

Various locally made products including handicrafts, organic tea leaves, clothing and accessories, face mask, potteries, food items, musical instruments, paintings, gift items and more were made available for orders on the DABA Youth Ministry Instagram and Facebook accounts, it added.
