LFI conducts awareness program on Novel Corona Virus among students

Dimapur, February 2 (NE): The students of Livingstone Foundation International (LFI), Junior High comprising of Grades -V to VIII were given an awareness on the Novel Corona Virus at the LFI Auditorium on February One. The brief awareness session was led by Shri Sanjeev Momin, Cambridge Exams Officer of LFI who highlighted about the burning issue of lethal corona virus which originated in Wuhan Province of China in December 2019.

In a notification, it said that using power point presentation, the students were given valuable inputs on the causes and prevention of the corona virus. The students also learnt about the symptoms of the virus and what were the do’s and don’ts related to the virus. Prior to the main presentation, the Administrator of LFI, Shri Arthur Edwards also spoke on the various aspects of the corona virus and how an awareness on the same can save many lives. The 2019 novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) originating in Wuhan, China, has spread to 25 more countries alarming public health authorities across the world.

A total of 11,944 (including 11,822 in China, Hong Kong and Macau) confirmed cases of novel corona virus infection including 259 deaths have been reported across the world as of February One. India has reported two confirmed case of the deadly virus so far.
