Kohima, March 30 (NE): The Khonoma Youth Organization (KYO) and Kuda Youth Club (KYC) condemns the heinous murder of Er. Kevinguto Khate on March 16, 2020 at Dimapur. He was an Assistant Professor at National Institute of Technology (NIT), Chumukedima, Dimapur and was also pursuing PhD.
Lt. Er. Kevinguto Khate, son of Late Rokozhasie and Hokhuli Khate, originally from Khonoma Village, is settled in Dimapur.
The Khonoma Youth Organization (KYO) through a press release on March twenty eight, said that it is deeply saddened and infuriated to hear the cold blooded murder of one of the member, Er. Kevinguto Khate.
Lt. Er Kevinguto was a promising young man and aspiring intellectual and he was a very hardworking man and loved by all. His death is not only a loss to the family and the people of Khonoma but also a loss to the Nagas in general, an irrepairable loss which created a huge vacuum in the family, the organization said.
KYO condemns the brutal and savage act of the wrongdoers in the strongest terms and fervently beseech the law enforcing agencies to deliver justice at the earliest and penalize the culprits with befitting punishments. Such kinds of act in a civilized society has no place and should be condemned by one and all. KYO trusts that the concern authorities of the law enforcing agencies will earnestly deliver justice as per the law, read the release.
KYO conveyed condolences to the bereaved family and humbly pray that the almighty God will grand solace to the near and dear ones.

Another press communique issued by Kuda Youth Club (KYC) also condemns the heinous murder of Lt. Er Kevinguto. KYC requested Police to leave no stone unturned in solving the crime.
