Kohima, March 30 (NEx): Kohima Town Club has invited interested football clubs to take part in the 4th edition of the Kohima Super League 2021 which will kick off on April 21st. The month long championship will be held at IG Stadium Kohima.
The Organising Committee Convenor Kethozelie Liezietsu in a press release stated that the league aims to bring total football revolution in Nagaland by starting local level football league, and also foster the growth of football in Nagaland.
In this regard, the interested clubs can avail the limited slots by registering themselves on or before April 5th 2021 at Sports Paradise, Riiluo Market, Kezieke. The slot fee for the old teams is Rs. 10,000 and new teams shall pay Rs. 15,000.
The champions will walk away with a cash prize of Rs. 1, 50,000, runners up with Rs. 100,000, while other awards includes player of the tournament, best fan club, best discipline club excluding the individual awards for the championship.
So far, the organisers said that eight teams have confirmed their participation namely New Market FC, T Comrade FC, Puliebadze FC, Aphuyemi FC, FIFA FC, TA Jakhama, KVYO including the defending champions Vanguard FC – Tseminyu.
