Kohima, April 15 (NEx): The Kohima Town Club today, informed that the upcoming 4th Kohima Super League 2021 has been kept in abeyance till further notice.
The tournament was scheduled to be held from April 21st to May 8th at IG Stadium Kohima. However, following the detection of Covid-19 positive cases from the representing district at the ongoing Dr. T. Ao Inter-District Trophy, the championship was kept in abeyance.
KTC Organizing Committee Convener Azho Sophie in a press release on Thursday informed that the club will wait for the government guidelines and SOP to reschedule the tournament.
This was decided by the organizing committee of the KSL-4 with various committee convenors, members and KTC members in an emergency meeting held on Wednesday evening, April 14th, at Kohima. After a thorough discussion and deliberation on the issue, the house decided to keep the 4th KSL 2021 in abeyance till further notice from the state government.
The organising committee informed that the Kohima Super League-4 will continue as planned but need to wait for guidelines and SOP from the Government of Nagaland.
