Kohima, October 08 (NEx): Kohima police arrested one person in connection with extortion from Tin Patti area in Kohima on Wednesday, October 07, 2020 at around 03:00 pm.
Kohima police in a notification said that the arrest was made based on specific input. The accused person has been identified as, SS. Razu Peyu of NSCN (IM), Abei Kimho, S/o. Late Kevi Kimho, Village- Piphema, PO/PS- Medziphema, District- Dimapur, Present Address- Kenuozou Colony, Kohima.
Further, it stated that 40 (forty) numbers of extortion slips belonging to NSCN (IM) and other incriminating items were seized from his possession.
In this connection, a case has been registered at North Police Station under relevant sections of law and further investigation is on, it added.
