Kohima Garrison Ladies Observed International Women's Day At Kohima Orphanage

Kohima, March 06 (NEx): Kohima Battalion of Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (North) organised a visit of ladies of Kohima Garrison to Kohima Orphanage and Destitute Home, Kohima District, Nagaland on Thursday, March 4th, 2021.

As a run up to International Women’s Day-2021, Mrs Seema Viresh Singh, Regional President ARWWA HQ IGAR (North) joined the ladies for the noble cause, the PRO informed.

The ladies interacted with children and presented gifts to the owner of Orphanage, Mrs Neibanuo Angami who shared her experiences with the ladies regarding the concept of the Orphanage, challenges faced and how she overcame them. The ladies felicitated Mrs Neibanuo for her exceptional work for the noble cause.

Ladies Of Kohima Garrison Attended An Art & Craft Workshop:

The PRO HQ IGAR (North) also informed that the ladies of Kohima Garrison attended an art & craft workshop at a venture called the Art Village in Kohima, Nagaland on Friday.

The ladies were given a brief introduction on the venture and subsequently given hands on experience in making paper bags.
