Reaction after adjudged as Miss Kohima 2019;
Firstly, i am so grateful to God for letting me stand where I am today. I am feeling quite excited for the journey ahead of me and more responsible after being crowned as Miss Kohima 2019.
Support from family and friends;
My parents have always been supportive of letting me to pursue this dream. My family and friends supported me through their prayers, advice, encouragement, kind deeds and of course by their warm presence during the finale. They always add colours to my life.
Journey to Miss Kohima 2019;
I entered into pageantry quite late but nevertheless i was always interested to do modeling and participated for beauty pageants from my college days. It all started this year only when i won Miss Ekarikthin and then participated in other pageant. I hope that this would not be the end.
About Future plans;
I am still young and i have many dreams that i want to achieve both in this field and academically. So, will see what comes up my way.
Misconception of beauty pageants;
We think that beauty pageants starts with ‘Beauty’ and ends with ‘Beauty’. But beauty pageants are not only about just a pretty face or good body. It enables a woman to be bold and confident and share her love, compassion and kindness to the people around her. She becomes a voice of the unheard cries and represents not one but many women.
Message to people across Nagaland;
Believe in God and believe in yourself that you will be able to achieve it. Let your hopes keep you alive. Above all, be humble and grateful and keep on working until you achieve it.
