JAF agitation against non implementation of 2017 ROP PAC recommendation from December 2

Kohima, December 2 (NE): Joint associations forum (JAF) takes on the 2nd and 3rd phase of agitation against non implementation of 2017 ROP Pay Anomalies committee (PAC) recommendation, where it resolved to avail 3 days mass casual leave w.e.f December 2, and indefinite pen down, tools down and computers shut down w.e.f December 5, 2019 respectively.

Joint associations forum (JAF) of Nagaland directorate ministerial service Association (NDMSA), All Nagaland district ministerial service Association (ANDMSA), Trained nurses Association of India- Nagaland branch (TNAI) and Prison Service Association Nagaland, in connection with the proposed 2nd and 3rd phase of intensified agitation of JAF w.e.f 2nd Dec, 2019, a meeting of the coordinating body of JAF and Action Committees of all associations on the 30th November, 2019 at the conference Hall, CANSSEA, Kohima was held.

In a circular by JAF convenor, Renthungo Tongoe, and co-convenor, Peter Rutsa, on November 30, stated that all the Constituent Association under JAF reaffirmed their strong participation in the ongoing agitation to fight for the genuine demand. The respective action committees are to pay surprise visits to offices having members of JAF and shall take action as deem fit to any erring members and there will be a monitoring cell at CANSSEA building. JAF appeals to all HODs/DDOs/Controlling officers and the public to bear the inconveniences due to the agitation of members and request to show solidarity.
