HSLC 2021 Result Declared; 69.42% Qualified, Girls Outshine Boys

Kohima, July 20 (NEx): Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) declared the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) examination 2021 results today. 69.42% students passed in the HSLC examination 2021.

A total of 23,608 students appeared the HSLC examination 2021, including 3241 repeaters. Out of this 16,388 students qualified, with a qualified percentage of 69.42%.

The girls have once again outshine boys in the HSLC examination 2021. A total of 8719 girls and 7669 boys qualified the examination. In the Top 20 list, there are 82 candidates out of which 24 are boys and the rest 58 are girls.

120 schools secured 100% qualified/pass percentage. Out of 120 schools, 95 are private schools and 25 are government schools. This year, 23 government schools have zero/nil result.

In terms of district wise performance for government schools, Mokokchung district topped the table with a percentage of 64% followed by Peren and Phek districts at 60%. Kiphire district is at the bottom with 10%.

In respect of private schools, Noklak district is at the top with a percentage of 95% followed by Mokokchung at 91%.

List of successful candidates holding the first five position:

1. Keneino Thorie, Trinity School, Kohima secured first rank with 98.50%.

2. Asewe Letro, Mezh├╝r Hr.Sec.School, Kohima, secured second rank with 98.17%.

3. Talinungsang Imchen, Queen Mary Hr.Sec.School, Mokokchung, Yimyatetla Longkumer, Holy Cross Hr.Sec.School, Dimapur and Narsen Ngullie, Little Flower Hr.Sec.School, Kohima shared third spot with 97.83%.

4. Amisha Kumari, Don Bosco, Hr.Sec.School, Dimapur, Emil Moncy Oommen, Little Star Hr.Sec.School, Dimapur, Abhijeet Kumar Das, Ram Janaki Hr.Sec.School, Dimapur and Yangertemjen, Saint Savio School, Chumukedima shared 4th spot with 97.67%.

5. Sanjana Keshari, S.D.Jain Hr.Sec.School, Dimapur secured 5th spot.
