Hekani Jakhalu from Nagaland featured as a changemaker from North East India

Dimapur, October 30, (NE): Hekani Jakhalu who is a founder of Rights based NGO from Nagaland has been once again featured as a changemaker from North East India in a reputed social issue based web portal, The Better India, in it’s MG Changemaker – on season second through a National wide assessments initiative.

Hekhani Jakhulu who has created own position by giving her most life for betterment of Nagaland in particular including North East India in general through creative intervention in various stratas was earlier working has a lawyer at New Delhi who left that job – to persue her dreams in giving a better life to the youths back home in Nagaland.

It must be no easy when she chose a path taking decision for the sake of those youths whom they have to thank this humble lady today in creating jobs, etc through skill based trainings and provided jobs – not just in Nagaland but beyond as well.

She is also supposed to be a forerunner in terms of RTI including other programs through her NGO, The Youthnet, which is based at Kohima.

She is successful today due to a strong likeminded teams spread in various districts of Nagaland – having on going projects throughout the year.

Made In Nagaland – a Center with difference at Kohima and others are few projects running very successfully with strong followings both from Nagaland & elsewhere.
It is pertinent to note that she along with her organization are both awarded in the state as well as national level is concern. And it is just matter of time when the organization will fly high beyond the country to represent Nagaland as well India.
