Dimapur, May 13: Nagaland has witnessed heavy rain and wind along with other northeast states on Monday, leaving few places severely flooded. Some damages has also been reported because of the windstorm.
After the arrival of extremely severe cyclonic storm Fani, winds have changed direction and continuous rains are being witnessed by the northeastern states of India.
According to skymetweather.com, the reason for continuous weather activities over Northeast India is the flow of southerly/southwesterly winds and the presence of a cyclonic circulation over South central Bay of Bengal. Along with this, the cyclonic circulation over Bihar is also enhancing rains over the northeastern states.
