Kohima, January 01 (NEx): As the year ends, the Minister for Health and Family Welfare, Government of Nagaland, S Pangnyu Phom conveyed heartiest appreciation to all the frontline workers for their tireless efforts in the fight against COVID-19 pandemic throughout the year 2020.
In a gratitude note, on Thursday, Pangnyu said, ‘The lives of many people were saved and rescued because of the risk and unending service rendered by the front line workers. The COVID-19 pandemic has taught us to share responsibilities for which I urge to stay more committed to win this war against the invisible enemy,’ – Pangnyu stated.
The State has lost many good souls through this pandemic, and the Minister conveyed condolences and pray for the bereaved family to find solace and comfort.
Pangnyu also said that he is thankful to all his esteemed colleagues for imitating good will Mission and helping the people in times of hardship in many aspects.
‘May you all lead and usher the best of your service towards our people be enlarged more until we overcome this challenge. May the good Lord immensely bless us all,’ – the gratitude note from the Minister stated.
