Nagaland government notifies CMRF applicants who are yet to receive the assistance, to send mail

Kohima, May 21 (NE): Government of Nagaland, through its official website for stranded citizens of Nagaland, notified the applicants of Chief Minister relief fund (CMRF) who are yet to receive the assistance, to send mail with their details.

Amid nationwide lockdown crisis, Nagaland Chief Minister, Neiphiu Rio on April 20, 2020 announced the Chief Minister Relief Fund to stranded citizens of Nagaland outside the state.

Stranded Students of Nagaland outside the state were assisted with a special COVID-19 relief package of Rs. 3000, working persons/professional with Rs. 4000, and patients outside Nagaland with Rs. 20,000.

There are few applications which were not processed due to error in the application also without documents attached, for which the govt has given an option once again for those who are yet to receive the Chief Minister’s Special package for stranded persons outside the state. It’s important to note that, New applications are not allowed.

The government in its notification for stranded citizens said, those who have applied and not received Chief Minister’s Special Package for Stranded Students, Workers & Medical patients announced on April 20, 2020, send an email mentioning applicant’s NAME and MOBILE No. to with the subject “CM Special Package” alongwith the following documents:-

Any Document issued by the Government of Nagaland in applicant’s Name.

Copy of Bank Passbook / Statement / Account clearly indicating Name of Account Holder and Account Number.

Further, a warning note in the website stated that, there are large amount of emails from people who have already received the CM Special Package fund for Stranded Students, Workers & Medical patients. Spamming this mail may result in individual IP address being flagged and prosecution under applicable sections of law. New applications are NOT ALLOWED, it said.
