Govt directs all retail pharmacies to keep records of persons buying medicine for fever & cough

Kohima, April 24 (NE): In order to scale up the fight against Covid-19 pandemic, government of Nagaland issued an order for retail pharmacies to keep records of persons buying medicine for fever and cough.

An order issued by the Principal Director, Health and Family Welfare, GoN, Dr Vizolie Z Suokhrie urged retail pharmacies to keep the records and monitor persons buying medicine for fever and cough. Govt of Nagaland has directed all retail pharmacies to collect information of people and send it to the following WhatsApp number against the respective district. This new order is to scale up our fight against Covid-19, it added.

Acknowledging the extra work on retail pharmacies, Suokhrie said, in this extraordinary time we need to scale up our surveillance and further seek the cooperation from all the retail pharmacies.
