Governor Ravi, Chief Minister Rio extends Holi Greetings

Kohima, March 28 (NEx): The Governor of Nagaland, RN Ravi, Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio extended warm Holi greetings to the people of Nagaland and urged everyone to responsibly celebrate observing Covid-19 protocols.

A press release from Raj Bhavan stated Ravi saying, ‘Holi festival with its vibrant colours accentuates positivity and the triumph of good over evil. Let us keep in mind the fundamental purpose of the Holi festival which is to unite the people together forgetting all differences, and to have love and respect for one another’.

Ravi wished everyone a colourful and happy celebration on this auspicious occasion.

Also, the Chief Minister of Nagaland, Neiphiu Rio wished a Happy Holi to all who are celebrating and urged everyone to follow COVID-19 appropriate behaviour and the prescribed guidelines and SOPs.

Taking to Twitter, Rio said, ‘I hope the festival of colors brings joy and goodwill among all sections of people and may we always be victorious over evil’.

Meanwhile, the National People’s Party (NPP) Nagaland also extended Holi greetings and said it’s a time to reach out with the Colours of Joy, a time to Love and forgive. It is the time that expresses the Happiness of being Loved and to be Loved through Colours, a time to Celebrate the Different Colours of our Beautiful relationship.

NPP President Andrew Ahoto, on behalf of the party wished a Safe and a very Happy and all the bright hues of life on this HOLI to all.

He said, ‘In your celebration of the vibrant festival of colours as a mark of Victory of Good over Evil, may your lives also be filled with colours of prosperity and boundless success’.
