Governor R.N Ravi, CM Rio, Dy CM Y Patton extend Tsungkamneo greetings

Kohima, January 15 (NEx): The Governor of Nagaland, R.N Ravi, Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio & Deputy Chief Minister Y Patton extended Tsungkamneo greetings to the people of Nagaland specially to Yimchunger community.

Governor Ravi in his greetings message said that the Feasts during the festival is an important practice. It is also a manifestation of reconciliation of disputes that might exist. The festival upholds significant traits such as unity, forgiveness, peace and friendship, he added.

The Governor also said, ‘I urge everyone to celebrate this beautiful festival observing every Covid-19 protocol. On this auspicious occasion, I wish you all happiness, good health, peace and prosperity. God bless Nagaland!’ – unquote.

The Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio in his message said, ‘Greetings to the Yimchunger community on the happy occasion of Tsungkamneo. I pray that the true spirit of the festival, peace and reconciliation will prevail among all sections of people. I wish you all a safe and happy Tsungkamneo, – unquote.

Deputy Chief Minister Y Patton in his greetings message said, “On this festive season, let us explore the possibilities of bringing oneness and unity amongst brothers and sisters to make the festivals more memorable and meaningful”.
