Kohima, January 16 (NEx): The Governor of Nagaland, R.N Ravi, Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio & Deputy Chief Minister Y Patton extended Mimkut greetings to the people of Nagaland specially to the Kuki community.
The Governor in his greetings message said, ‘Mimkut is a harvest festival particularly the maize crop, It is also a period to remember the loss of our loved ones. During the celebration, Kuki community exhibits their magnificent traditions and customs wherein the young people familiarise themselves with their roots. Love and brotherhood are important essence of this festival.’

Deputy Chief Minister Y Patton in his message said, “On this festive season, let us explore the possibilities of bringing oneness and unity amongst brothers and sisters to make the festivals more memorable and meaningful”.
