Governor R.N Ravi, CM Neiphiu Rio, Dy CM Y Patton Extend Tsukhenye Greetings

Kohima, April 23 (NEx): The Governor of Nagaland R N Ravi, Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio, Deputy Chief Minister, Y Patton along with others extended Tsukhenye greetings to the Chakhesang community and to the people of Nagaland.

Governor in his greetings message said that ‘the Tsukhenye festival marks the end of a successful harvest year and greatly welcoming the spring season. People invoke God to replenish them with good health and more strength. During this time of celebrations, they also revive and rejuvenate themselves before heading to the toiling work and sowing for the next seasonal harvest.’

‘Let us continue to observe COVID-19 protocols throughout the celebrations. On this occasion, I wish you all with good health, peace and happy celebrations,’ – unquote.

Taking to twitter, Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio said, ‘Greetings to the Chakhesang community on the joyous occasion of Tsükhenye which marks the end of a successful harvest year. I hope it brings blessings of renewed hope, new energy and a fruitful year ahead.’

Deputy Chief Minister, Y Patton has greeted the Chakhesang community on the auspicious occasion of Tsukhenyie. Patton said that the Chakhesang community was known for their hardwork and wished them a fruitful year, abundant in crops, vegetables and livestock through this sowing season.

Patton also urged the people to celebrate with precaution and strengthen the fight against COVID-19 by observing all the given SOPs and guidelines. On behalf of the state BJP legislators the Dy.CM and BJP leader sends a very blessed and meaningful Tsukhenyie.
