Governor, Chief Minister and others send greetings on National Press Day to Nagaland scribes

Dimapur, November 16 (NE): His Excellency, the Governor of Nagaland including Chief Minister, Government of Nagaland, Shri Neiphiu Rio, Deputy CM, Y Patton and others in the cabinet with various other political and NGOs under Nagaland has issued a statement during the National Press Day today on November sixteen who has been serving the people as a messenger on information in Nagaland.

According to a statement, His Excellency told to use the power of free press judiciously in the country for betterment of the society. Meanwhile, the Chief Minister conveyed his best wishes to team journalists in the state who are serving tirelessly. Others including organizations too has conveyed a warm message for working journalists in Nagaland.

In this regard, programs in various places of Nagaland alongwith its Press Clubs are stated to mark the day by organizing functions in those districts through DIPR, Government of Nagaland including central agencies.

It is mostly learned that few award ceremony may be also held to give respect for those who are working for the society as one important pillar of the society today.
The President of respective Press Clubs including officials from the Government will be giving speeches during National Press Day observation.
