Kohima, December 12 (NE): Nagaland has been hit by fuel crisis as anti-CAB protests turns into battleground in North East states, especially in Assam. Many fuel outlets in the state had witnessed a long que from this morning itself.

As per the report received here, towards the evening, most of the fuel outlet in the state has ran out of stock. People are coming in large numbers with their vehicle to fuel outlets, besides filling full tank fuel, many were found stocking the fuel in bottles and cans.

As days pass by protests are intensifying, its going way beyond the control of the state government, especially in Assam and Tripura. Internet and SMS services has been shut down and Army has been deployed to tackle the situation. This has triggered panic and as curfew imposed in many parts of Assam, vehicles are also not plying on the roads.

It should be seen in the coming days, how this issues will turn around. As fuel shortage already started in the state it will eventually impact the transportation, unless the state government arrange some parallel source to get the fuel supply.
