Dimapur, March 26 (NE): Former Minister Government of Nagaland, Dr. TM Lotha passed away early Thursday morning, March Twenty six, due to a Cardiac arrest at Dr. Motsuo Memorial Hospital, Wokha, at the age of 68.
Dr. TM Lotha was a medical doctor and joined Government service as an assistant Surgeon in 1977. He later joined active politics in the year 1987, and contested the 6th general election of the State as an NNDP candidate from the 38th Wokha assembly constituency. He was one among the Naga leaders who seriously fought and did his best for early solution to Naga political problem.
Various key leaders from Nagaland has expressed sympathy over the sudden death of the great leader Dr. TM Lotha.
