Dimapur, December 10 (NE): Yes, Hornbill Festival is regarded as Festival of Festivals, here at Nagaland and tonight it officially ends for 2019, which had mesmerised the entire world with events happening – not just limited to Kisama, but in different districts of Nagaland as well.

It all started through a mini Festival, covering all the tribes of Nagaland from early part of this year. Needless to say that it has become a mega project happening round the year, which is a big achievement of sort.

One could witness everyday various key leaders as chief hosts and hosts among others. More than one lakh visitors, which included foreigners, domestic & the locals as tourists throughout the events till date. Lot’s of positive including negatives were part of ten days show. Yet it’s worthwhile to push a major event like this from a small state of Nagaland.

This year, in particular it’s a push from the Advisor, Department of Tourism, Government of Nagaland, who uses the skill through being active in social media – which has helped to garner the right images infront of public like an Ambassador for developing the tourism map of Nagaland to the world.

Key strength is perhaps one could learn particularly this year for next edition to happen again in 2020 – with a hope that will create a model to sustain itself unlike any other years.

Till this year, the exchequer of Nagaland will perhaps make a big hole – due to no revenue models created. But, from next edition, perhaps the Government can innovatively think a way out for such possibilities – was conveyed in few social media groups among the youths.
