Kiphire, September 4: Kiphire District Administration organised farewell programme in respect of outgoing Deputy Commissioner Kiphire, M. Shayung Phom on 4th September 2019. The farewell programme was held at DC Office Conference Hall Kiphire.
The outgoing Deputy Commissioner, M. Shayung Phom said with the cooperation of the three tribal bodies he was able to bring some achievements. He further encouraged the gathering to give their full support and give cooperation to in coming DC for further development in the district. He encouraged the three tribal bodies to unite and cooperate more in order to bring development in the district.
On behalf of the district officers, ADC Kiphire Hq. Reny Wilfred, IAS; ADC Seyochung, Japheth Woch, ADC Pungro, Zakabo V. Rotokha, Helen Jamir, Principal Zisaji Presidency College Kiphire and Additional SP Kiphire, Tshurhosie Kajiri gave farewell speech. The officers in their speech expressed that outgoing DC, M. Shayung Phom is a good officer who can manage everything in balance. They said outgoing DC is a capable officer and under his guidance the district has been blessed and outgoing DC is a man of understanding and under his leadership Kiphire district has created a good team with Tribal Hohos, Students bodies, NGOs which may not be known by many people individually. And under his leadership the district was improved in law and Order situation and Kiphire district wish him very best with new assignment. The Kiphire district has said that though they depart from each other they will always cherish the day of their short time of 7 Month and 15 days together in the district. The Tribal body under Kiphire like United Sangtam Likhum Pumji (USLP) Eastern Sumi Hoho (ESH) and Yimchunger Tribal Council (YTC) present and expressed their satisfaction for keeping good Law and order situation in the Kiphire district during the stayed of outgoing DC, M. Shayung Phom.
The farewell programme was presided by Sangpangchang EAC. Meanwhile the invocation prayer was led by Nyampo Wallim SDO (C) HQ.
