Fake Nagaland University UG exam routine: ANCSU condemns

Kohima, April 29 (NE): In another fake news during the pandemic, the undergraduate examination routine 2020 of Nagaland University circulating through social media and WhatsApp, caused chaos among NU admins and students.

The All Nagaland College Students’ Union (ANCSU) strongly condemned the perpetrator for circulating the fake undergraduate examination routine 2020 of Nagaland University.

A press release issued by ANCSU on Tuesday, April 28, 2020 clarified that, through telephonic conversation from the Registrar, Nagaland University (NU), it was confirmed that no revised/new UG Exam routine has been issued by the NU as circulated in various social media platforms.

“At a time when the situation is unfavorable to everyone, targeting the students’ community with such invidious intention is highly condemnable and deserves befitting punishment under relevant law.”

ANCSU made an appeal to the law enforcing agencies to immediately book the culprits also the students’ community to be vigilant of such hoax messages, said the press release issued by ANCSU President, Vimeyiekho Vitso and General Secretary, Imnameren N Jamir.

Nagaland University on Monday informed that the undergraduate examination routine 2020 is fake and the university has not issued any such notification, also requested all concerned “not to be misled by the fake notification.”

Further, it said that the Nagaland University will officially notify the examination routine on its website as and when the situation permits.
