ENPO President, C Sashi Naga Passes Away: NPF Mon Condoles

Kohima, May 17 (NEx): The incumbent President of Eastern Naga People’s Organization (ENPO) Shri C Sashi Naga passed away at CIHSR, Dimapur on Monday, May 17, 2021 early morning. He was admitted to the hospital after he suffered a stroke, and later tested positive for COVID-19.

C Sashi Naga was elected as the President of ENPO for the tenure, 2021 – 2023, during its General Session (2021) held on February 25th, 2021 at Tobu Town. Later, on March 31st, 2021, during a program held at Dimapur, he took over the office of the ENPO President.

TR Zeliang Condoles:

The Leader of Opposition and Former Chief Minister of Nagaland TR Zeliang said, ‘Deeply grieved to learn about the sudden demise of C. Sashi Naga, President ENPO. A gentleman who dedicated his life for the welfare of the people & especially for the region of ENPO. Served in various capacities throughout his life, he shall be fondly remembered. DENSU condoles:

The Dimapur Eastern Nagaland Students’ Union (DENSU) expressed deep pain over the demise of Shri C.Sashi Naga, President, ENPO, who breathed his last on 17th May, 2021 at CIHSR, Dimapur. ‘He was an exceptional tall leader and a man of God who had selflessly contributed his life to his people till his last breath and his unwavering dedication and devotion to his people is a tribute to his high principles. His invaluable contributions and profound allegiance will always be remembered,’ stated DENSU.

The DENSU expressed sincere sympathy to the bereaved family and dear ones and prays for God’s kindness to endure the sudden demise. May the departed soul rest in peace, the DENSU condolence message stated.

NPF Mon Condoles:

The Naga People’s Front (NPF), Mon Division expressed grieve and sorrow on the untimely death of Shri. C Sashi Naga, one of the most prominent leaders of Eastern Nagaland and sitting President of Eastern Naga People’s Organization (ENPO) after suffering a stroke at Dimapur early morning on May 17th, 2021.

The NPF Mon said, ‘We join with the rest of the people of Eastern Nagaland in mourning on the death of it’s leader and the family of Sashi Naga. May the Almighty God solace the people of Eastern Nagaland in time of such sorrowful period’.
