Kohima, March 09 (NEx): The Deputy Chief Minister of Nagaland, Y Patton inaugurated a Community Hall at Chukitong Town, under Wokha today, coinciding with his tour of 37 Tyui A/C consisting of 21 villages. The Community Hall was donated by the Dy. CM, a press release said.
Chukitong range consists of Chukitong town and five villages. During the day long visit to the villages, the Dy. CM met with the public, Village councils, elders and party workers.
Patton said that during the last one year, developmental works came to a grinding halt due to the global COVID- 19 pandemic, however, he assured that the PDA government under the dynamic leadership of the Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio, is committed for the welfare of the people and that the present government is stable and for which it will complete full term.
Patton stated that when development projects are earmarked, it is for the people and “There is no ruling or opposition” development. He also assured to take up all their genuine grievances to appropriate authorities in the government.
During his visit, the citizens of Chukitong range acknowledged and appreciated the Dy. CM for his initiatives in various developmental activities particularly for Chukitong range, the release said.
The Dy. Chief Minister was accompanied by SP Wokha, EAC Chukitong, BJP state officials, BJP Wokha district Officials, party workers and well-wishers.
