Kohima, March 31 (NE): The Department of School Education through a departmental advisory proposes to launch few online services after normalization of the present coronavirus pandemic crisis in the state. In this regard, the list of Govt. School Teachers (Except PGTs) along with last 4 digits of their registered mobile numbers is made available at the DoSE website ‘education.nagaland.gov.in’ for verification by concerned teachers, informed the school education department.
In case of change of mobile numbers, teachers can send the following details through email (Plain Text and NOT as attachment) to ‘email@example.com’ along with a clear mobile photo of their Identity Card, Sl. No. in the List, Name of Teacher and Mobile No.(10 digits).
Asst. Director of DoSE, Nellayappan said that they propose to introduce online services for the benefit of teachers. This will provide Services without the need of coming to Directorate at Kohima. The software is ready and it will be launched soon. The present excercise is for updating mobile numbers of all teachers. The services could be accessed using OTP authentication. The concerned teachers need to send email to the email address given as per instructions given in the advisory, he added.
It is reported that few names are not included in the list which can also be reported through email. This exercise is undertaken now because we can do the rectification during the lock down period and launch the Service when office resumes, he said.
The above process could be done using Smart Phones/Laptops/PCs and all concerned are advised NOT to go out of their homes for the same, as issued by Shanavas C , IAS, Principal Director, DoSE, Nagaland.
