Kohima, September 23 (NEx): The Dimapur Naga Students’ Union (DNSU) extended its support to the unltimatum served by NSF & ENSF to streamline the teachers of 2010 & 2013 batches of SSA & RMSA into the mainstream of the state school education cadre.
The DNSU expressed dismay and disappointment over the breach of agreement/decision which was signed between the concerned department and the NSSTA, NSF & ENSF on June 12, 2018, and appealed the state government and concern department to act more responsibly with sincerity towards this genuine approach.
In a press release, the Union said that it is committed towards the issue and urged the department not to take the students’ organisations for a joy ride and further reminded that, taking undue advantages over the silence of the students community will be one of the greatest error in the history of educational sector in the state.
Further, it reminded that teachers are the source of Nation building, and such kind of ignorance showed towards the teacher’s community is a threat to better future. It also added that anything that jeopardize the service of the teachers and careers of the students community will never be compromised at any cost.
Mentioning that the step motherly treatment by the educational sector towards it’s employees as compared to other departments in the state is questionable, DNSU observed that, teacher’s salaries are always being delayed for months and months, and that the government should never expect the teachers to render it’s service in empty stomach.
