Dimapur, October 08 (NEx): A Dimapurian, Jitesh Sethi, son of Arun & Meena Sethi, cracked IIT JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) Advanced 2020 which is believed to be one of the toughest exams in the world.

In a press release by a renowned social entrepreneur from Dimapur, Shri Ajay Sethi said that he is a 5th generation Non-Naga indigenous citizen whose forefathers settled down in Dimapur in the 19th century. His family was the first one to set up an industry in the state in the form of a rice mill.

It is expected that Jitesh will be counselled online in the 2nd week of October to take admission in one of the most prestigious institutes in the country out of the 23 IITs. He achieved an All India Rank of 9562 out of 1.60 Lakhs who appeared JEE Advanced 2020.

It may be noted that 10.23 Lakh aspirants appeared JEE Main 2020, after which IIT JEE Advanced 2020 was held on September 27. Jitesh had earlier scored 99.17 percentile in JEE Main 2020 for which cut-off was 90 percentile marks for the general category of students. Jitesh was ranked 9401 in All India Ranks as per JEE Main 2020.

Earlier, Jitesh scored 92.6% marks in CBSE’s Class XII exams this year and 93.6% marks in class X from Hollotoli School in the year 2018. Jitesh aspires to take up computer science to pursue his B.Tech from the most prestigious institute of the country which is IIT. It’s a dream come true not only for him but for the whole of Sethi family & all the well-wishers. According to Jitesh, his mother Meena Sethi is an inspiration & motivator to give his best in his career.
