Dimapur, October 29 (NEx): The total restriction of all movement imposed, along National Highway – 29, at the stretch of Chathe River bridge (Patkai Bridge) to Kukidolong for 22 hours from November 01, 2020.
The Deputy Commissioner of Dimapur Rajesh Soundararajan, IAS in a circular on Thursday, October 29, stated that, 22 hours total restriction of all movement has been imposed from Chathe River Bridge (Patkai bridge) to Kukidolong from 07:00 am on November 01, 2020 (Sunday) till 05:00 am on November 02, 2020 (Monday) to facilitate the progress on the four-lane construction works.
The restriction is necessitated to facilitate speedy completion of the four-lane road works and as a precautionary measure to prevent any injury, loss of life and damage to property, DC stated.
DC also advised the general public to take the alternative route from Dimapur to Kohima / Kohima to Dimapur for light vehicles only, which is available via 7th Mile – New DC office – Shokhuvi – Razaphe – Mhaikam – Pimla – Mhainamtsi – Jhornapani / Medziphema and vice versa.
