Dimapur, July 22 (NEx): Four police personnel from West police station, Dimpaur have tested positive for COVID-19 in the preliminary COVID test conducted through TrueNat machine, today, July 22, 2020.
Commissioner of Police, Dimapur, Rothihu Tetseo, IPS, said that as a precautionary measure the police station has been barricaded. The samples of four police personnel have been sent for confirmatory RT-PCR tests.
Meanwhile, an official tweet from Dimapur Police informed the public of the police station help desk number +91- 7085055034 for any emergency services.
As a precautionary measure the general access to West Police Station will be partially restricted in view of the preliminary detection of 4(four)suspect Covid case among the PS staff.

Two railway employees tested COVID-19 positive:
The Commissioner of Police, Dimapur, Rothihu Tetseo, IPS, further informed that Railway colony is also likely to be sealed as two railway employees have tested COVID-19 positive.
However, no official directive have been received to seal the police station and Railway colony, Tetseo added.
