Development Association of Nagaland hosted a short sensitisation program and cleaning drive at Jalukie, Peren

Peren, September 23 (NE): Development Association of Nagaland (DAN) in collaboration with Caritas India along with 60-70 volunteers hosted a short sensitisation program followed by a cleaning drive at Lunda market Jalukie, Peren, today (September 23, 2019) at 4:00 pm.

The volunteers were from students’ communities, women organisations and well wishers.

C. Wangan, EAC Jalukie, graced the event as the special guest with Rev. Fr.Francis Cheerangal, Principal of St. Xavier college, Jalukie.

C. Wangan mentioned that today is a Red Letter Day in the historic of Peren district in general and Lunda market in particular because this is the first market to be declared as free plastic zone in the state of Nagaland. The epicenter of change and evolution to protect the environment and Planet for the future generations. A big thumbs up for all the volunteers and DAN for making the history in the state.
