Kohima, March 08 (NEx): The Deputy Chief Minister of Nagaland, Y Patton started his constituency tour by visiting Nyiro range consisting of seven villages under Wokha district on Monday, March 08, 2021.
During his visit, Patton interacted and held threadbare discussions with the villagers, party workers and village councils wherein, he was apprised of the hardships faced by the people, a press release said.
Patton had a patient hearing of all the grievances and assured that he will put forward all the genuine grievances like healthcare facilities, water supplies, roads and other important amenities to the government.
The ongoing Wokha- N. Longidang road which is the lifeline of Nyiro range will be a fulfillment of the long felt need of the people on completion, he added.
The Dy. CM emphasized on the need to preserve flora and fauna which he observed, was fast depleting. He also urged the people to cooperate with government agencies and avail all the benefits.
In his tour, Patton was accompanied by officials from the district, Wokha police and BJP officials from the state and district and well wishers, stated the press release.
