DDCF urges business community not to take advantage of blockade by raising commodity prices

Dimapur, November 17 (NEx): Dimapur District Citizens’ Forum (DDCF) urged the business communities that it should not take advantage of the blockade to raise the price of the commodities, owing to the economic blockade called by the Karbi students’ Association from November 17 onwards, demanding immediate solution to the border issue.

The forum also requested the government of Nagaland and Assam to resolve the border problem at the earliest, and further suggested that the Government of Nagaland should take the matter seriously and immediately find a solution with its counterpart.

Meanwhile, the Indefinite Economic Blockade to Nagaland called by KSA has been temporarily called off today, after a Consultative meeting between the administration from both the districts of Dimapur and Diphu.

Further decision on the protest will be decided on Wednesday, November 18, 2020 after a meeting with various Civil Society Organisations along with the DC and SP of Diphu, a source from KSA stated.
