Kohima, March 15 (NEx): The Deputy Commissioner of Noklak, Reny Wilfred, IAS revised the commercial vehicle fares back to pre-lockdown rate throughout Noklak district with effect from March 17, 2021.
DC Noklak in an order on Monday, said that, ‘the State High Power Committee (HPC) on COVID-19 has decided to relax the number of restrictions on various activities in the state, including the occupancies in the commercial vehicles.’ ‘Therefore, in the interest of public service, the occupancies of commercial passenger vehicles is hereby relaxed to 100% and the fares revised back to pre-lockdown rate’.
‘The jurisdiction of this order shall extend through out the district of Noklak and shall come with effect from March 17, 2021 and shall remain in force till further order,’ said the order.
Further, the DC reminded that non-compliance to this order will invite disciplinary actions as deemed necessary.
Last week, the HPC has relaxed restrictions on activities owing to reduced number of COVID-19 cases in the state, and approved the functioning of commercial vehicles with full occupancy and permitted normal classes to resume for primary schools.
