DC Mon, ADC Longleng issues travel advisory

In view of the current situation in Assam which is causing disturbance on Nagaland registered vehicles, and also to avoid any untoward incidents, the Deputy Commissioner of Mon, and Additional Deputy Commissioner of Longleng issued travel advisory

Kohima, November 27 (NEx): In view of the current situation in Assam which is causing disturbance on Nagaland registered vehicles, and also to avoid any untoward incidents, the Deputy Commissioner of Mon, and Additional Deputy Commissioner of Longleng issued travel advisory.

A DIPR report said that the Deputy Commissioner Mon has notified to all the commuters traveling from Mon to different parts of the State to avoid traveling through Jorhat District and Sivsagar District till the situation is normalised.

Meanwhile, ADC Longleng notified that regarding the disturbances caused on Nagaland registered vehicles by some organization along the Amguri-Mariani-Golaghat route of Assam now, passenger vehicles(both commercial & private) are advised not to commute through this route until such time the situation normalizes. All such passenger vehicles may take alternative route (Amguri-Jorhat-Dergaon-Golaghat) to avoid any untoward incidents, it said.
