COVID Second Wave: Governor Ravi Meets All Tribal Hohos

Governor of Nagaland, R. N. Ravi held a sensitization-cum-consultation meeting with all the Tribal Hoho leaders of the State on Wednesday, April 14, 2021

Kohima, April 14 (NEx): In view of the second wave of COVID-19 in the country, Governor of Nagaland, R. N. Ravi held a sensitization-cum-consultation meeting with all the Tribal Hoho leaders of the State on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at Dr. Imkongliba Hall, Raj Bhavan.

The overnor recalled the significant contributions of the tribal leaders and their cooperation with State Government in combating the first wave of COVID-19 and observed that this pandemic cannot be successfully fought by the Government alone and cooperation of the tribal leaders is crucial. He urged the community leaders to encourage and ensure people to observe COVID-19 appropriate behaviours, informed a press release from PRO to Governor.

The Governor appreciated the valuable practical suggestions given by the tribal leaders based on their experiences and observations. The suggestions will be conveyed to the State Government for necessary action, it said.

‘The Governor will meet GBs, Church leaders and leaders of other faith based organizations in the State in coming days,’ the PRO added.
