Covid-19 update: No positive cases, 26 tested negative in Nagaland | April 01, 2020

Kohima, April 01 (NE): Dr. Vizolie Z Suokhrie, Principal Director, Health and Family Welfare, GoN has informed that as on 05:00 pm, today, April 01, 2020 there is no positive cases of Coronavirus detected in Nagaland.

A total of 32 samples for suspected Covid-19 were sent for test from Nagaland, in which 26 samples tested negative. Six samples results are awaited, informed the Covid-19 bulletin, today.

Principal Director informs that a total of 4747 people including students who have returned since March 06, 2020 have self reported to the respective surveillance team of the District and are under home quarantine out of this 1146 have already completed home quarantine period and 3601 persons are under home quarantine at present, it added.

Nagaland has 173 Isolation beds, said the report. The number of calls received through helpline stands at 38,375. At present ten Foreigners are present at the state, added the report.

A total of 771 persons were screened on April 01, 2020. District wise screening numbers are, Kohima- 161, Mokokchung – 125, Peren – 15, Phek – 30, Mon – 167, Tuensang – 59, Zunheboto – 132, Wokha – 1, Kiphire – 21, Longleng – 0, Dimapur – 0.
