Chief Minister Rio receives 2nd dose of Covid Vaccine; Launches Covid Vaccination Centre at Thizama

Kohima, April 17 (NEx): The Chief Minister of Nagaland Neiphiu Rio received the second dose of Covid vaccine today, April 17, 2021 and also launched the Covid Vaccination Centre for Health & Welness Centres (HWCs) at Thizama, Kohima.

Neiphiu Rio took to Twitter to update on his second dose of Covid vaccine and said, “Got my second dose of CovidVaccine and also launched Covid Vaccination Centre for HWCs at Thizama, Kohima”.

The CM urged all those who are eligible to get vaccinated and encouraged residents of Nagaland to avail the free facility now made available closer to their homes. He also appealed to strictly follow COVID-19 protocol & guidelines even after receiving one or both doses of the vaccine.

He further informed that, administration of Covid Vaccination was also started at other HWCs across the State and all 162 HWCs will start providing Covid vaccination in a phased manner.

Rio also released a media kit for journalists providing messages & media content to create awareness on vaccine safety & encourage people for availing of the free Covid Vaccine.
