Kohima, February 17 (NEx): The Chief Minister of Nagaland Neiphiu Rio today inaugurated State Data Centre (SDC) at Chief Engineer’s Office, Water Resource Department (WRD), Kohima.
Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio said, ‘Nagaland reaches a milestone with the inaugural of ‘State Data Centre’ which will collect vital data and information about water resources in the state.’
While Congratulating the Water Resources Department, Chief Minister expressed hope that it will provide useful data, that is accessible to all, in making development plans.

The inaugural programme was chaired by Joint Secretary, WRD, Selichum Thongtsar. The Advisor, WRD, Namri Nchang, and Addl.Chief Engineer, WRD, Er. Razouvolie Kelio, delivered short speeches during the programme.
The ‘State Data Centre’ is constructed under National Hydrology Project (World Bank Aided Project).
