Kohima, May 13 (NEx): Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio, Deputy CM & Minister in charge of NPWD (R&B) Y.Patton expressed sadness to learn about the demise of Er. W. Chingi SDO, PWD (R&B ) Longleng, who passed away at Dimapur on May 12th, 2021.
CM Rio said, ‘I am saddened to know about the demise of Er. W. Chingi, SDO, NPWD (R&B) Longleng. He was a hardworking and meticulous person with a cheerful demeanor who always had the society’s welfare in mind. My deepest condolences to the bereaved family. Dy. CM Patton Condoles:
Patton described Late. Chingi as a sincere and diligent officer whose life was unfortunately cut short during his prime time. It is indeed a great loss for the department and the Nagas as a whole. On behalf of the department, the Dy.CM conveyed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for the departed to rest in peace.
The Dy. CM also mourned the demise of Akato Chishi, president of BJP Kisan Morcha Dimapur district. Patton said Late. Akato was a dedicated karyakarta whose selfless contributions and sacrifices for the party and the people will not be forgotten. The state BJP leader on behalf of the state BJP legislators conveyed deepest condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for the departed to rest in peace.
DTF Longleng Condoles:
The District Task Force, Longleng held a meeting on May 12th, 2021, in which, the Deputy Commissioner & Vice Chairman DPDB, Longleng on behalf of the members of the District Planning & Development Board, Longleng conveyed the most sincere condolences to the family members of Lt. Er. Chingi Phom, SDO, R&B (NPWD), Longleng who passed away at Dimapur on May 12th, 2021.
In his condolence message, the DC said he was deeply saddened at the loss of an exceptional officer and a colleague with a strong character and straight-forward nature. He described lt.Er. Chingi as a hard-working, sincere and reliable person and added that the memories of his wonderful personality and his contribution will be cherished by all.
As a mark of respect, the members of the District Task Force on Covid-19 observed a minute of silence in honour of the departed soul.
