Dimapur, June 07 (NEx): The Deputy Commissioner of Dimapur, Rajesh Soundararajan IAS on Monday launched an Ambulance Service, which is an initiative of Chumukedima Town Council (CTC) in collaboration with Altrura Society and Little Hut Group to cater to any medical emergency within Chumukedima area in general and the Town in particular.
The EAC and Administrator CTC, Seyiekhrietuo Solo in a circular informed that the Ambulance Service has been set up with the help and assistance of Chumukedima Chamber of Commerce and Trade Association (CCC&TA), the Town Baptist Church, Chumukedima, 4 x 4 Attitude and a host of generous well wishers.
‘This is purely a charity based service and therefore, the Ambulance charges have been kept as nominal as possible so that all sections of the society have easy and affordable access to such services especially during this time,’ stated the circular.
The Ambulance is equipped with life saving equipment such as oxygen cylinders and other necessary devices like pulse oximeters. The general public is therefore, requested to make use of this service whenever required, it said.
