It’s time for citizens to highlight about Childline with logos as every citizen of Nagaland need to know that there is a helpline available for children and anyone can dial 1098, which is toll free or they can reach the Childline Dimapur office and maybe introduce the organizations and the district where it is operational.

During this pandemic, Childline Dimapur has been reaching to migrant families in different pockets with the awareness on COVID-19, and also distributed soap, face mask n dry ration to children.

Another enlightening information is that 2020 has been a blessed year for children of Nagaland as the state government have taken a gaint leap towards the welfare of children in the state by launching the much needed School Child Protection Policy under Education Department; the Nagaland Juvenile Justice Rules and a book on Analytical study on Children in Need of Care and Protection and Children in Conflict with Law in Nagaland by various Government of Nagaland Departments. With these, children should now be safer in various ways.

If anyone come across any child in distress, do not hesitate to dial 1098. One call can make a difference for the child.
