Child Rights complaint to be held at Kiphire on September 26

Dimapur, September 23, (NE): The National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) Bench will be conducting a Child Rights complaint day to at DPDB Hall, DC office, Kiphire town for Kiphire district on September 26, 10am.

In this regard, various complaints resulting to:

– Absence of a school in neighborhood including lack of infrastructure.

– Capitation fee related.

– Child selling product on the road.

– Forced begging.

– Child victim of domestic violence.

– Denial of School admission, etc.

It is pertinent to note that the NCPCR is a statutory body under Government of India framed by CPCR Act, 2007.

The core of the Commission is to enable all children to enjoy their rights as enshrined in the Constitution and provisional under different Act/Laws.

The Commission is visiting the district to take complaints against any child rights violations, etc.

DC Kiphire, Sarita Yadav, IAS in an official notice said; any person including children, parent, guardian, caretaker, or any individual working for child rights, who want to report any violation of rights of children will be afforded an opportunity to provide written submission and be heard by the commission.
