Kohima: Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio has appealed to all members of the People’s Democratic Alliance, (PDA) and parties to set aside their differences and rise above political affiliations and work collectively for the betterment of Nagaland.
Rio expressed hope that under the present Union Government, India will witness a new era of progress and development and the emergence of a New India.
The Chief Minister was addressing PDA Thanksgiving Programme held at the State Banquet Hall in Kohima yesterday (June 7).
Congratulating the two successful candidates, Member of Parliament in the Lok Sabha, Tokheho Yepthomi and the new MLA in the PDA Alliance, Sharingain Longkumer, Rio expressed hope that they will serve the people with dedication and commitment.
