Centre Sanctions 7 Road Projects Worth Rs. 1006.06 Cr For Nagaland

Kohima, April 13 (NEx): The Central Government on Monday, announced the sanction of 7 Road Projects of 119.52 Km worth Rs. 1006.06 Cr for the state of Nagaland during 2020-21.

Updating on the sanction of the 7 projects, Minister of Road Transport & Highways, MSME, Government of India, Nitin Gadkari said;

-Strengthening of NH-61 (2 New) under NH Division Mokokchung in the state of Nagaland has been sanctioned with a budget Rs. 15.11 Cr.

-Widening to I L & improvement of geometric from Km 101.00 to km 125.00 on NH-61 has been sanctioned with a budget Rs. 252.2 Cr.

-Widening of existing Single lane / Intermediate lane road to 2 lane of NH 61 and Widening of existing Single lane / Intermediate lane road to 2 lane of NH 61 in the state, sanctioned with a budget Rs. 226.45 Cr.

-Widening of existing Single lane / Intermediate lane road to 2 lane of NH 61 in the state, sanctioned with a budget Rs. 297.25 Cr.

-Widening of existing single lane road to intermediate lane road from Mokokchung to Chare via Dikhu on EPC mode in the State has been sanctioned with a budget Rs. 192.93 Cr.

– Also, a budget Rs. 22.12 Cr for the development of existing 2 lane pavement including strengthening of NH-36 in Dimapur city portion in the State of Nagaland has been sanctioned, Gadkari informed.
